Swedish high-stakes phenom Victor Blom overcame Dutch pro Noah 'Exclusive' Boeken's 3 to 1 chip advantage to win the Main Event of PokerStars' Spring Championship of Online Poker on Sunday.
Last year, Blom's transition to tournament games began with two SCOOP 2012 event wins and a $1.2 Million Super High Roller payday in the Bahamas. This weekend's main event crown comes with nearly $1.1M in prize money.
All in all, the series paid out $75.5 Million in prizes which made SCOOP 2013 the biggest online poker tournament series of all time.
The Spring Championships are one of 2 major online poker festivals run by Poker Stars, The World Championships of Online Poker in September 2012 awarded $55.2M in prizes.
