Victoria BC's Calen McNeil added to Canada's domination of WSOP 2013 with our 6th bracelet win in the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Low event. He battled a stacked final table that included Todd (son of Doyle) Brunson, Tony "The Animal" Ma and his final foe, millionaire Vietnamese-Californian pro Can Kim Hua.

The Canadian began Thursday's play with a 3-1 chip lead and within the first half hour was up 6-1 in chips, but then the tricky Hua took a series of pots to even things up, all within the first half hour of play. As the blinds grew, McNeil ground down the American as the blinds grew to nearly 10% of the players' stacks until finally winning the tournament, and $277,274 with a flopped set of kings.
