Hard Rock Casino Vancouver Poker Championships

Hard Rock Casino Vancouver is introducing their very first poker tournament series since their complete renovation and rebranding in December last year. Previously known as Boulevard Casino, Hard Rock Casino Vancouver has become the hottest place to play and enjoy a night out in the Vancouver area since they reopened their doors and revealed a stunning new entertainment destination.

There will be four events in the series, running from April 1st to 6th, with buy-ins ranging from $180 to $1,100 and an estimated prize pool of $300,000. It is also a Canadian Poker Tour (CPT) sanctioned event, so players will be able to earn points for the annual CPT Player of the Year leaderboard. Matthew Lapossie and Mike Leah currently sit on top of the points race, but there are plenty of CPT events throughout the year to let you catch up to them.

PokerNews Canada will be on site writing daily recap articles of each of the events so that all of our readers Canada-wide can follow along with the action; so if you're not playing, watch our homepage for updates!

Hard Rock Casino Vancouver is running satellites in their poker room for Events 2, 3, and 4 already. Check their March tournament calendar to see how you can earn your seat. The events are capped at 120 players, so you will want to buy your entry soon. Payout structures are also available on their website.
