The Sunday Briefing: Ladouceur Wins the Sunday 500
The third Sunday of 2015 has passed and the online action is heating up. The top cash in the country came from Canadian Team PokerStars Online pro Marc-Andre ‘FrenchDawg’ Ladouceur who shipped the Sunday 500 on PokerStars for $59,133.

In Joe Stapleton’s words, “the year of Romania” continued as Full Tilt concluded its MiniFTOPS XXVII series with a $75 Main Event captured by Romanian ‘jfaraclan’ who pocketed $62,692 after a heads-up chop. Fellow countryman ‘ramondemon77’ continued the success taking down the Sunday Brawl. ‘RedPantRed’ was the lone Canadian final-tablist, finishing fourth for $10,160. Canada had one representative at the final table of The Sunday Major as well. ‘12USS’ was the first player eliminated, earning $2,901 for ninth place.

The Sunday Warm-Up saw the first major action for Canada. ‘SHIPP ITT’ made good on the promise of his screen name, taking the fourth spot for $35,385. A three-way deal in the Sunday Rebuy boosted the bankroll of ‘PlayaPlz’ by an extra $39,084. Two players in Canada made the final table of the Bigger $109. ‘zerochill’ had a runner-up finish worth $37,235 and ‘NegroVente1’ placed eighth for $4,282. Along with Ladouceur, ‘kylef89’ also final-tabled the Sunday 500. He finished eighth for $7,943. Three players in Canada final-tabled the Sunday 2nd Chance, ‘morans350’ (second — $32,537), ‘S7v7nEL1v1n’ (fourth — $18,190), and ‘Athanasios 9’ (seventh — $7,686). The last major of the day brought another title back to Canada. ‘AnIrishFinn’ bested the Sunday Supersonic field for a top prize of $54,033.

The $200,000 Guaranteed Sunday on partypoker had an added bonus as only 1,003 entries registered, creating an overlay of more than $14,000. Canadian-based player ‘PeterAdams2’ scored the victory and $31,800 to top it off. There were two Canadian players at the final table of the $500 buy-in $100,000 Gtd High Roller. ‘JPeso4’ placed sixth for $6,270 and ‘jessica8’ was eliminated in ninth for $3,186.
