The Main Event is the marquee event of the 15-tournament series that has already been running for more than a week. The one remaining tournament of note is the $5,000 High Roller on Monday and Tuesday.

When registration closed in Day 1c, 127 entries had been added to the tournament, taking the final tally to 305. Once the calculations were done, the prize pool was declared to be $405,650 — more than double the guarantee.

First place will earn a whopping $92,000 and 31 players are guaranteed to earn at least the $3,600 min-cash. There will be 93 players returning on Monday, so there's still a lot of play before the money bubble bursts.

The player with the most chips when play resumes will be Day 1a's chip leader Phil Sousa with 292,700 who already has a final table in this series back in Event #1.

Some of the players to take a final shot on Day 1c but fail to survive the 10 one-hour levels include Valerie Ross, Tony and Ryan Comely, Ratharam Sivagnanam, Bash Ramahi, Tyler Bonkowski, and Ashkan Razavi.

Play resumes at noon on Monday and will continue until a final table is set. PokerNews Canada will be back on the tournament floor bringing you live updates of all the action. You can follow along on our live reporting page.
