"Wexler" and "KidMoney" Win WSOP Circuit Rings on Espacejeux

WSOP Circuit

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit returned to Canada last month after a two-and-a-half-year absence. Casino Montreal hosted the festivities and American Brian Altman stole the Main Event title.

Out of the signature 12 Circuit rings awarded in 12 events, 10 of them were played live in Montreal, Quebec, while the final two took play online this past weekend.

WSOP Circuit partnered with Espacejeux, Quebec’s only provincially licensed and regulated online gaming site. As in the three prior Circuit stops in Canada, the final two tournaments were played exclusively online on Espacejeux in Quebec or the sister site PlayNow in Manitoba and B.C. Only players residing in one of the three provinces are able to play on PlayNow or Espacejeux joined through the Canadian Poker Network.

On Saturday, May 7, the $320 online poker tournament took place on Espacejeux and received 166 entries, creating a prize pool of $65,100, which surpassed the $60,000 guarantee. “Wexler” finished on top, earning $16,600.50 as well as the Circuit ring.
