partypoker Adds to Roster, Launches Twitch Channel

Beata Jambrik

Only a few days after unveiling Australian pro Jackie Glazier as a brand ambassador, partypoker has added to its roster Hungary’s Beata “Wild Hungarian” Jambrik as a sponsored pro.

Jambrik has only been playing poker since January 2015 but has already amassed an army of fans and followers on her Twitch page where she streams herself playing Spin & Go tournaments on PokerStars, although these are likely to change to partypoker’s Sit & Go Hero Tournaments now that she’s signed a contract.

Known as the “Wild Hungarian,” Jambrik is good friends with partypoker ambassador Patrick Leonard, who lives in Hungary. It was Leonard who was the face of the launch of the partypoker Twitch channel Oct. 11.

The partypoker blog announced the launch of its Twitch channel claiming to give insight into how some of the world’s best poker players approach the game of poker. Leonard certainly fits that billing.

Leonard has been ranked as high as No. 1 in the world for online poker tournaments by PocketFives. He has more than $2.7 million in online cashes.

Joining Leonard under the spotlight is Adam “IT5PAYDAY” Neal who will be streaming live at 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 13. Viewers can watch him grinding the UK Facebook Community Bounty Freeroll, the $22 buy in Contender, and the $109 Uppercut.

Newly appointed Jambrik will hit the virtual felt for a Sunday session Oct. 16 where she’ll play her favorite Sit & Go Hero games, with Neal returning to the fray on Oct. 18. One of partypoker’s other recent additions, Natalia “N4talB” Breviglieri will debut on partypoker’s Twitch channel from 7:00 p.m. UK time on Oct. 20 for a mixture of power series tournaments.

Twitch has become a popular platform for poker players and online poker sites as it allows them to interact with fans and customers. Jaime Staples is one of the most popular “Twitchers” currently, although it is Jason Somerville who takes the crown for king of Twitch. Both Staples and Somerville are on PokerStars’ books.
