Two more flights of Event #3: The $250 Frenzy $200,000 guarantee are complete after Saturday’s action at the 2016 Playground Poker Fall Classic hosted by Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, Quebec.

Day 1c began at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, gathering 166 hopefuls eager to lock up their seat for Day 2. By the end of 14 levels of play, 33 would remain. Randy Khalil finished with the best stack in the room, bagging 209,500. Khalil had a rollercoaster of a day. In the last few levels of the night, Khalil went from 150,000 in chips, all the way down to 40,000, before grinding it back into the chip lead in the last two levels.

Hiroaki H (173,500), Duy Toan Pham (153,000), Alex Plourde (146,000) and Michael Nabilsi (144,000) joined Khalil at the top of the leaderboard. A few notables also moving on to Day 2 include Carrie Webster, Jason Conforti, Tomas Larivee Magni, Adam Cader and Timothy Deering. A few not so fortunate were Patrick St-Onge, Philippe Belley, Jonathan Bussieres, Peter Johnson Jr. and John Palmer.

Day 1d kicked off Saturday evening at 6 p.m., bringing in another 245 runners ready to test their luck. Harnessing the most power from the field was El Abbes B, breaking the 300,000 chip mark, the only one to do so in the field, and closing out the day with 300,500. Not far behind was Sivasuthan Balasingam with an impressive 294,500.

Malik Lefty (243,500), Sanjay Sivasundaram (216,500) and Pascal Fournier (172,500) rounded out the top five stacks in the room.

Just two more starting flights remain before the field converges on Day 2. Sunday’s sessions at Playground feature Day 1e at 10 a.m and the final session, Day 1f, at 6 p.m.
