Josh Wallace Wins Again, Tops DSPT Calgary

DeepStacks Poker Tour (DSPT) has made their 2017 debut in Canada with their first of four scheduled appearances in this country, all in Alberta.
The mid-major tour rolled into Calgary for a 10-day, 11-tournament series at Grey Eagle Resort & Casino. By the time action concluded on Sunday, March 19, Josh Wallace emerged as the winner of the $1,100 Main Event, pocketing $81,861.
This is the largest cash of Wallace’s poker-playing life, though just barely. It was just last month that Wallace won the Winter Super Stack $1,500 Main Event at Deerfoot Inn & Casino just down the road. That win was worth $78,000 and was his biggest cash-to-date.
Winning this DSPT Main Event marks back-to-back wins for Wallace in Calgary tournaments with buy-ins above $1,000.
