Big Turnout Earns 28 Players a Seat Into the Main Event in Winnipeg

PlayNow Poker Championship satellite field

The action kicked off for the fall edition of the PlayNow Poker Championship at Club Regent Casino in Winnipeg with a $120 multi-table satellite tournament. With 283 entries and one entry to the Main Event being given for every $1,100 in the prize pool, this meant that 28 entries would be given to this year's Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries $1,100 Main Event.

After approximately five and a half hours of play, Brian Adlem was eliminated in 29th place and received the extra $330 in the prize pool while 28 players went to collect their ticket to the Main Event.
