The Weekly Review is back with a recap from the biggest winners from the Sunday grind, the Fall Poker Classic from Playground Poker Club, and the return of the $1 million Red Spade Open from PokerStars.

Fall Poker Classic Ends With Local Winner
The Fall Poker Classic wrapped up last week from the Playground Poker Club with 17 events across 19 days. The event culminated with the $3,850 World Poker Tour Main Event that was won by local player Maxime Heroux who earned $384,150 from the victory.
The series began with a charity tournament in support of Strangers in the Night. With a $25 from the $160 buy-in going to charity, William Blaise edged out a field of 904 entries to secure the victory and $23,000.
The biggest event of the series was the $10,300 High Roller event which saw 29 players enter, falling one buy-in short of the guarantee. In the end it was WSOP Main Event Champion Jonathan Duhamel who won the tournament and the $130,000 first-place prize.

Two Canadians Post Big Wins on Sunday
Every week, the biggest guarantees in online poker take place on Sunday. Here is how Canadians fared on Sunday this week:
One of the biggest winners on the day was Alex “Dynoalot” Difelice who managed to beat out a field of 212 players in the $530 High Roller Warm Up on partypoker for $20,814.
Another winner was “REALTTWIST” who bested a total field of 500 total entries for the $19,250 on 888poker’s $100,000 Mega Deep event.
The biggest winner of the day went to “acerb1c” who made the final table of the Sunday Million on PokerStars. They narrowly missed out on the victory though, finishing in third place for $77,408.

$1 Million Guaranteed PokerStars Red Spade Open Returns Dec. 3
After a one-year break, PokerStars is bringing back the $1 million guaranteed Red Spade Open. The $55 buy-in tournament will take place on December 3 and will see at least $100,000 go to first place.
In the past there have been bounties up for grabs for eliminating any Team Pro or Team Online member that has a red spade next to their name.
