Barry Nagus Wins PNPC Main Event for $66,840
The 2019 Spring PlayNow Poker Championship $1,100 Main Event presented by Farmery Estate Breweryhas now come to a conclusion after two full days of play. The event saw 254 players to create the $254,000 prize pool, which saw the winner to be paid $66,840.
Eric Waslenko was a notable in the field that would make Day 2 and made it into the money but fell in 19th place for $2,491.
Anh Pham who ended Day 1 as the chip leader ended up making the money but fell in 12th place for $3,885.
Dylan Ellis was another notable in the field and outlasted Pham by one spot, getting eliminated in 11th place as the final table bubble for $4,349.
Patrick Serda who won a World Poker Tour (WPT) Main Event in 2018 ended up running his top 10 stack from the end of Day 1 into the deepest run from any notable in the field. He ended up getting to heads up play against Barry Nagus. Nagus ended up outlasting Serda in the heads up match though, giving Serda $42,187 for the runner up finish. Nagus collected $66,840 along with the trophy, championship ring, and the exclusive new PlayNow Poker Championship winner jacket.
