MILLIONS North America Down to Final Six with Two Canadians Remaining

Francois Billard - Top Canadian on Final Day

The 2019 partypoker MILLIONS LIVE North America played down to the final table on Saturday and Canada was well represented. Canada dominated Day 4 with nine of the remaining 16 players representing the maple leaf.

The biggest bag to start Day 4 belonged to Danick Landriault from Hawkesbury, Ontario. He bagged more than twice as many chips at the end of Day 3 than second place stack, American player Kevin Rabichow with 45,475,000.

A lot of the Canadians who started Day 4 busted in succession early in the day, and by the time play was down to the eight-handed final table, there were just three Canadians remaining. Landriault was still alive and kicking, but he was one of smaller stacks. Another smaller stack wearing a Canadian flag was local player Ruben Perceval, but he was the first player to exit the final eight, after running his pocket fours into the queens of Rabichow.

Landriault survived an all-in late in the day when he doubled up against the weaker ace of Ben Heath. Heath was eliminated a few hands later, setting the six-handed final table with fully one third of the seats filled by Canadians. Landriault found himself on the other end of the stacks at the end of Day 4, but he still managed to bag the smallest stack into the final day.

The other Canadian, Francois Billard, bagged the second biggest stack of Day 4, and he was one of only two players to count to more than 100,000,000. The biggest stack heading into the final six is Rabichow of the US with more than 150,000,000 chips.
