What is a Platinum Pass
A Platinum Pass is something that must be earned through a variety of promotions whether it be winning a leaderboard, winning a live tournament, and other promotions including the latest announcement of connecting your Twitch account to your PokerStars account for a chance at a pass which you can read more about here.

Also included are hotel accommodation, spending money, and much more.
- Entry to the €22,500 PSPC 2020 event
- Six nights’ accommodation for two in a five-star hotel

- PSPC merchandise
- €1,250 expenses
- Various exclusive Platinum Pass winner experiences during the event
Paths to Win a Platinum Pass
There are many ways you can get your hands on a Platinum Pass. Not all yet have been announced as there will be plenty of promotions throughout the year to allow as many players as possible to experience a poker event of their lifetime.
Online Mega Path
Online players will have at least one chance a week through the Mega Path to get their hands on a Platinum Pass. The Mega Path is either a three or four-step process depending on whether players want to play for free or are willing to pay $2 for a chance at a Platinum Pass.
Players can win Step 1 Mega Path tickets which are good for on-demand Stars Rewards Spin & Go's running around the clock. Those that win Step 1 will join others willing to pay a $2 entry fee in a 27-man sit-and-go where the winner will win a ticket to Step 3.
Step 3 is a multi-table tournament taking place every Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. The top 15 finishers in this tournament will play in the PSPC Qualifier on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET where the winner will go home with a Platinum Pass.
- Step 1 - Stars Rewards Spin & Go (Ticket only)
- Step 2 - Sit & Go ($2 entry or win Step 1)
- Step 3 - MTT (Win Step 2)
- Step 4 - PSPC Qualifier (Win Step 3)
Live Event Path
PokerStars has chosen many live events to award Platinum Passes. They are mostly PokerStars-branded events but this isn't always the case.
The winner of the Main Event in the designated events will get a Platinum Pass. While this might come as a small consolation of a huge tournament like the ongoing EPT Prague Main Event with a €5,300 buy-in, this is far from the case in many other events including the Moneymaker Path to the PSPC which features of a buy-in of as low as €175 to enter.
In addition, PokerStars awards some Platinum Passes to the leaderboard winner of some of the festivals. There are also other giveaways including to a random online qualifier and more.
