Bursheim Doubles Through Penner

ajlamers • Level 17: 5,000-10,000, 1,000 ante

Bryan Bursheim and Darren Penner got all of the chips in the middle preflop with Bursheim at risk for a little over 100,000 chips. It was a classic race with Bursheim holding {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Penner showing {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The flop of {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} favoured Penner as he looked to keep the momentum rolling. The {2-Spades} on the turn changed nothing but the {j-Diamonds} on the river was exactly what Bursheim was looking for. He scored the double up and Penner ran into the first bump in the road.
